With IDX or IDX Plus listing data from TREND on your website, you can offer a comprehensive search tool that provides consumers with the latest information on for sale and recently sold homes in their neighborhood. Supplying this information gives you the opportunity to become their trusted resource for local market information.
Many public websites provide for sale property searches and home valuation tools to consumers without the benefit of your real estate expertise. By offering consumers all of the information they need on your website, you can better compete with consumer websites for Internet traffic and be able to keep them on your site longer.
TREND delivers IDX and IDX Plus using the Real Estate Transaction Standard, or RETS, which means that listing information, including price and photo changes, can be updated to your website frequently, perhaps as often as every 15 minutes.

IDX Offers Active MLS Information
Through IDX, you can display and allow consumers to search active MLS listings on your website. IDX includes all relevant information for active listings, including property photos and public open house information. This information enables you to offer for sale property searches, like many popular consumer websites.
The monthly licensing fee for IDX (active listings only) is $35.

Upgrade to IDX Plus for Sold MLS Information
TREND also offers sold listings exclusively to members for IDX websites. IDX Plus includes relevant information for sold listings since January 1, 2000, including the primary photo for that listing. This information enables you to offer searches on recently sold properties or to create home valuation tools for use on your website.
With IDX Plus from TREND, you will get sold property information that contains more complete feature data and is updated more frequently than public records data - giving you an edge over most popular consumer websites.
The monthly licensing fee for IDX Plus (active and sold listings) is $50. (IDX Plus is an add-on product to IDX.)

How to Get IDX for Your Website
Once you have a website and are ready for IDX or IDX Plus, simply complete and submit the appropriate license agreement(s) to TREND and the appropriate monthly licensing fee.
In order to view the agreements, you must be logged in.
TREND offers the following options:
Broker Licensing
- Brokers can license data from TREND.
- A license agreement and monthly fee are required.

- Agents can license data with the permission of their broker.
- A license agreement and monthly fee are required.

Agent Framing
- Agents can frame their broker's IDX or IDX Plus licensed website.
- There is no license agreement or fee required.

If You Don't Have a Website...
To establish an IDX website, you need more than just the data. Before you subscribe for IDX or IDX Plus from TREND, you should first consider these business questions:
- Do you have a website vendor?
- Does your vendor have experience working with real estate information, specifically IDX data?
- Does your vendor already provide a product to search and display active listing information?
- Does your vendor already provide a product to display sold listing information?
- If not, how long will it take your vendor to create such a product?
- What are the costs to you for the vendor to provide you with a website and to update or create a product that meets your needs?
Once you have a website and a vendor, TREND will assist you and your vendor to ensure your IDX websites meet all TREND data display requirements.
