
With a successful career spanning nearly 25 years, Gene Millman, broker for Millman Realty LLC, Wilmington, DE, has seen a lot of change over time - how consumers buy and sell homes, tools used by REALTORS® and how the industry assists clients.
Millman understands that new technology has helped promote the changes mentioned above. Now he's embraced the concept of a new technology called
listing syndication, or the process of getting a listing's information displayed on other sites around the Internet. Millman was one of the first subscribers to the product, which is powered by TREND. Millman says the biggest benefit is the value it adds to his services in the eyes of his sellers.
"This is a great resource to our current sellers to help expose and market their homes," said Millman, who started using
ListHub to syndicate listings last fall. "They would have a very difficult time doing this without us."
An increasing number of TREND brokers are discovering that ListHub creates unique marketing opportunities to reach on-line consumers. The number of TREND brokers and office managers using this product has tripled over the past three months. Currently, nearly 300 brokers use the product.

By syndicating listings to each of ListHub's 27 national websites or search engines, called channels, Millman can broaden their exposure and increase the chance a potential buyer will find them more quickly.
"Today's consumers are expecting a certain level of service from our marketing plans," Millman explained. "They want to know where their homes are being seen and how many hits they are getting."
A subscriber to ListHub's premium services , updgrades to the product which provide him with additional reports, Millman uses tracking information from various reports to validate the services he is providing to sellers.
"Now, I give them a report, where they can actually see where the leads are coming from and what sites are getting the most hits," Reports indicate which listings are getting the most hits and from what sites the hits are generated. This enables Millman to evaluate which sites are providing the most return.
Over a 30-day period, reports indicated that 185 potential clients found his listings on a ListHub channel and clicked through to his site. Additionally, the consumer traffic to his website has increased by 10 percent. Millman admits he is reaping the rewards of ListHub with minimal effort and cost.
"Since November, we've seen our Internet leads increase because of the traffic coming from these sites," Millman said. "Eventually, that will translate into more sales...Absolutely!"
