Use Your Knowledge of an Area to Narrow Down Your Search Results, Without Leaving the Page
Interactive maps allow you to select only the listings you want to include in your results-without ever leaving the page or opening a new window. With just one click, you can add or remove listings that don't fit into your client's needs. Maybe one of the properties returned is located too close to a busy intersection; simply hover over the pin for that listing and deselect it right from the map. Click the Refresh Results button and your results are updated.
View Listing Info Right on the Map
Just by moving your cursor, determine whether or not a property meet’s your client’s needs. From the map, hover over any pin for a listing and an accompanying pop-up bubble appears, giving you all of the essential information, such as:
- Status
- Price
- Beds & Bath
- One-click link to Full Listing Report
If there is more than one listing located in close proximity to eachother, an orange pin appears on the map. Hovering over that pin shows you information relating to all of those properties. To view information about a specific listing in that bubble, click the MLS number and the information for that listing appears. This allows you to compare similar properties without having to scroll up and down the page and look at multiple reports.
Use Familiar Tools to Discover Property Info
The maps in the MLS can be used just as you would use them in your everyday life. You can look at properties and neighborhoods by either panning or zooming in on a particular area of the map. You can also utilize one of the different views to get a better understanding of the area, such as:
- Bird's Eye View
- Aerial View
- Road/Street View
With the ability to manipulate the map as you see fit, you can ensure that your search area isn’t located near any undesirable locations such as train tracks, a busy intersection or an industrial business complex.
Get Driving Directions with One Click

With driving directions from Bing, you can quickly plan your route. From a listing report, simply click the Directions link and Bing opens in a new window with the property address already populated. All you have to do is enter your starting point and click Get Directions. This feature is also available to your clients through the e-mailed reports you provide to them.
Familiar Product Means Less Time Adjusting
In today’s real estate industry, it’s more important than ever that you’re spending less time on the computer and more time with your clients. Interactive maps are integrated directly with Microsoft Bing, the popular mapping service that you utilize in your own day to day tasks finding stores, sports arenas and restaurants. The integration of these maps means more time for you to focus on your clients needs.
