Creating a Custom Search Template and Saving it as the Default
The Listings Search on MLS Blue enables you to create a custom search screen that suits your needs by including only the fields you want and removing the fields that you don't. If you often search with particular fields such as Property Condition or Adult 55+/62+ Community or Remarks, you can add them to the screen. Never use waterfront? Remove it. By decreasing the number of fields on the page, you can reduce the amount of scrolling which saves you time. Creating a custom template can also shorten download time of this search page too, especially if your template contains the fewest number of fields you use regularly.
Take the time now to customize your screen and save it as your custom template. This investment of time now will save you time and money later. And time is money!
TIP: Don't forget to use Preferences to set it as your default screen for the Listings Search page. This template will automatically appear every time you go to this search. You'll save time and clicks and always have your customized screen right at your fingertips!
Reduce Clicks: Use a Few Quick and Easy Edit Icons

From the right hand column of both the search and report screens, MLS Blue offers tools that allow you to easily edit your search criteria in a matter of minutes. If you perform a search that returns too many or too few results, you can click the pencil and "X" icons to modify your search.
If you want to remove a field completely from your search, click the "X" icon, located to the right of the pencil. To modify a field, click the pencil next to the particular field. Once you click the pencil, that field appears on the screen and is highlighted to help you locate it quickly. Enter the new criteria, click "Next" and see how many results now match your search.
Using the pencil from a report screen eliminates the need to repeatedly go back to your search, edit criteria and view a new search. Not having to go back and forth between pages will save additional clicks. Using these features allow you to streamline your time.
Client Communications: E-mail With or Without Listing Information

MLS Blue provides new communication opportunities by allowing you to
send an e-mail to your clients from the MLS without sending listing information.
While you are logged in, you can send appointment confirmations, reminders and other non-MLS information. So there's no need to log out, go to your e-mail provider to send an e-mail, then log back in and continue working.
This feature is especially handy for initiating the e-mail subscription process with your client as soon as you enter their contact information. Get them subscribed now, so that later when you have listing information to send your client, they will already be subscribed and will receive it. Go to the Contacts page and click the e-mail button to send an e-mail and get back to your MLS work more quickly!
Choose What to Do: Printing Options Made Easy

MLS Blue offers a great deal of flexibility when it comes to printing. You can view one report on your screen yet choose a different report to print. When you click "Print," the Print Options page appears - with plenty of choices. So if you are viewing a one-line report and you want to print a member full for one listing, just select the report you want and click "Print." MLS Blue allows you to select the type of report you want to print, which saves you clicks and time!
The Printing Options page also allows you to decide what to include on your printed reports. In a matter of clicks, you can opt to include or exclude listing photos, search criteria and results statistics. It's that easy. When printing saved results, you can even print the contact and search name.
The Print Options box in MLS Blue provides the flexibility you need to produce the reports you want. This functionality offers ease of use, so you can streamline your time.
