    New Image Uploader Now Available!

Members have asked for a new tool for uploading photos to their listings, and now, this request is a reality. A new image uploader is now available, which is mobile-friendly, includes the ability to add or remove multiple photos at once and has the option to upload photos from cloud storage.

Due to changing technologies, the Image Wizard could no longer be upgraded. In addition to the technology limitations, the previous wizard did not work optimally, causing slowness and other issues. Many of you requested updates to this vital tool. We heard these requests, and now a new image uploader has replaced the old wizard in TREND.

Easily Upload Photos from Any Device with a New, Responsive Image Uploader

Photos are an important part of a listing, and with phones and tablets being used more frequently, you may be taking listing photos on mobile devices.

Upload photos while working on your computer, tablet or smartphone with ease with the new image uploader. There will be no sacrifice in the look and feel of the uploader, even when on devices other than your computer, thanks to the responsive design.

Easily navigate to the new image uploader

With the addition of a new menu item, you are able to easily navigate to the image uploader through Add/Edit Photos. With just a few simple clicks—or taps—you can launch the new image uploader, choose the listing and get your work done. Snap photos on your smartphone and add them to your unpublished or published listing without having to boot up your computer.

Increased Image Resolution for Higher Quality Photos

As technology continues to advance, there is a need to accommodate higher quality photos. With the new uploader, you are able to upload larger photo files that will display with a higher resolution. This will allow you to better highlight the qualities of your listing.

Upload Images from Your Computer or the Cloud!

In an increasingly technological world, it is important to have options when it comes to uploading photos. Previously, photos could only be uploaded from your local computer or copied from an existing listing. Now, you can also upload photos from various cloud storage: MS One Drive, Google Drive and Dropbox.

Add or Remove Multiple Photos at Once

One of the most requested features for photos has been the ability to delete all photos from a listing, with fewer clicks. With the new image uploader, you can add and delete multiple photos at once. If you accidentally add the listing photos to the wrong listing or go back to the property and get better photos, simply select all the photos you want to delete and remove them all at once.

    Edit Photos with Built-in Tools

The new upload tool also features editing capabilities, allowing you to adjust the photo right in TREND without having to use a separate photo editing program. Edit brightness and contrast. Crop and even rotate the image all while working in TREND. This will save you time and make it easier to add photos from any device.

Your Photos Uploaded with the old Wizard Were Not Affected

The addition of the new image uploader does affect the way you upload, edit and delete listing, office and agent photos, as well as company logos. It did not, however, negatively impact any photos you previously added to your listings.

The new image uploader is compatible with IE 10 or higher and the latest versions of Google Chrome or Firefox. If you are using a different browser, you will not be able to access the new image upload tool. Please update to a compatible browser to avoid disruption to your work.

While we all hate changing our routine, the upgrade of IE from version 10 to version 11 as suggested by Mike Schrank of Trend has seemed to solve my upload problem.
    Thank you.

I uploaded a new listing yesterday and then changed one photo on another one today without issue (I used a thumb drive for both). Moving photos is still tricky when you are going up multiple rows.

Could you provide more information about the issue you are experiencing? Are you having trouble moving them and the photos staying in position or are you not seeing the new order when viewing the listing?

My agents are reporting that the Multi-photo print does not work properly on Chrome on Firefox.

Could you please expand on the issue you experienced this morning? Did the message in the bottom left corner say something specifically when your photo was not uploaded successfully?

At 7:49 am this morning, I simply attempted to upload 1 pic and the process failed.
I do hope that serious consideration and testing took place before this new photo thing was turned over to us.
Kristen, you've got your work cut out for yourself!

For sheer giggles I tried uploading the missing photos from a usb drive and that worked. It is still a pain moving photos around as the they are not all displaying on my monitor so it takes two steps or using both hands on the mouse to scroll to do it on one step.

I am trying to add photos to a new listing and selected 25 but it only loaded 15. I am trying to add the missing ones, one at a time, and it is not allowing me. These are all normal resolution, meaning that I have used this size before. I am now getting VERY frustrated and wondering, frankly, why EVERY new enhancement causes such frustration. Perhaps this is NOT ready for prime time!

Kristin, I read your post of 4/29. This issue are not resolved. The pictures that posted blurry are still blurry on many sites. I deleted the photo's with the low pixel's and uploaded the new required resolution. I called support and was told that my issue was being addressed. The support person did try but I have a client that is so angry about the appearance of the photo's that he thinks it is slowing down his showings. I had his home professionally stage and a professional photographer took the pictures. I have called Realtor.com directly and still I am having problems. The problem still exists that if a picture is change it does not go to many sites.
I have spent hours on this. I AM SO FRUSTRATED. I need help getting these pictures corrected on the net.

While it is nice and perhaps easier that we can now upload larger photos, I am looking at listings and seeing some photos loading as slow as molasses. I am NOT a techie but respectfully suggest the keep the public in mind: they may not wait for a photo to load line by line!

Thank you for the feedback! To address a couple of the items you brought up: you do not need to click Save when working in the image uploader, you will see the alert messages pop up on the bottom left that let you know, in real time as you are working, that your work has been saved. It is an automatic function of the uploader (to see the alert messages I am speaking of, watch the demo linked to at the end of the story). As for moving the images, by clicking on the directional arrow icon then dragging, while still holding down the mouse button, you can easily move the images into a new order.

    I hope this helps!

I uploaded photos for the first time with the new updated setup. Works great! Love the ease and ability to load multiple photos quickly. Now just fix the 3 clicks to print and have a very happy Realtor
