MLS and Public Records Integration
Help Topic 2117
Public Records creates a more efficient way to transition between a listing record in the MLS and a tax record in Public Records. Public Records has been designed to appear within the same window as the website and the MLS.
Accessing an MLS record from Public Records
- If an MLS history of a property exists, there will be an "MLS record" button on the tax record for that property. This button will take you to a history of that listing in the MLS. It can include a picture and a map of the property. If there is no MLS record for that property, that button will not exist.*
Accessing a tax record in Public Records from the MLS
- If a complete tax record exists for a listing, you can access the tax record for that property in Public Records by clicking on the tax ID link on that listing. The tax record page will open in the same window as the MLS listing.*
MLS data included in the reports
- MLS photos, maps and a history of listings. The dates shown under photos are the photo upload dates. For all listings entered prior to 2000 (including listings with MLS sale dates between 1995 and 1999), the date shown will be 9/1999.
* When you navigate between pages in Public Records and the MLS, the system keeps your place in the list for you when you return to the previous page.
