Different office types
Help Topic 6288
TREND has four (4) types of offices - Full, Limited, Middlesex Participation and Appraiser. The County in which the office is located determines the type of membership.
The office is located in either Berks, Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, Philadelphia, Salem, Gloucester, Camden, Burlington, Mercer, New Castle or Kent counties.
Limited Office Participation
The office is located in a county other than the 13 counties previously mentioned and the Broker is a member of another MLS. (Offices eligible for this membership may opt for FULL membership)
Under Limited participation, your office can join TREND as a BLI member. As a BLI participant, your limited offices can have their entire office inventory electronically entered and updated in TREND, through a data import from your primary MLS.
Middlesex Reciprocal Office Participation
If your office is located in Middlesex County, you are eligible for Middlesex Reciprocal Office membership.
To join TREND as an appraiser, you must be a certified or licensed appraiser.
An office (any type) in which the principal Broker of the office (the Broker of record) is a member of an Association (or Board) of Realtors (as demonstrated by a letter of good standing).
An office (any type) where the Broker IS NOT a member of an Association (or Board) of Realtors. Non-Realtor offices are required to provide a refundable Non-REALTOR® deposit of $500.00.
The non-REALTOR® deposit is refundable if the Broker joins an Association of Realtors AND supplies TREND with a letter of good standing OR terminates with TREND. Escrow deposits are held in a non-interest bearing account.
