New Office Requirements and Applications

To join TREND as a new office, you must be a broker of record or a certified or licensed appraiser. You and your office must join TREND first before any others in your office may join. Each new office must complete the appropriate office application below.

Determine the proper membership type

TREND has three types of office membership, each with different requirements based on your office location, other MLS membership you may hold, and what TREND features you wish to access. Most offices will be eligible for only one or two types.

Download the corresponding application

Full Office Application (approx. 300k download)

If your office is located in one of our 13 primary counties, you and your office must join TREND as a Full Office. All agents, appraisers and assistants in the office must join, with each one completing a New Member Application.

Limited Office Application (approx. 300k download)

If your office is not located in our 13 primary counties and you belong to another MLS, you and your office can join TREND as a Limited Office. While you and your office must join, agents, appraisers and assistants in the office can join only if they want to do so.

Anyone wishing to join as a new Limited Office/Member, need to fill out the Limited Application and the new BLI Form.

Middlesex Office Application (approx. 280k download)

If your office is located in Middlesex County, you need to fill out this application.

BLI Authorization Form (approx. 20K download)

If you are already a member of TREND, you only need to fill out the BLI Authorization Form.

Appraiser Application (approx. 170k download)

To join TREND as an appraiser, you must be a certified or licensed appraiser.

Middlesex Appraiser Application (approx. 170k download)

If you are a licensed appraiser in Middlesex County, you will need to fill out this form.

Only the broker / owner must join TREND, other licensees / appraisers of the office may join at their option.

Application instructions

  1. Please read and understand all information contained in the applications, including fees and billing policies.
  2. Complete all pages of the application.
  3. Use the second page to determine the amount due. New office fees are prorated based on the number of months left in the current 6-month billing cycle.
  4. Mail or fax all pages of the application to TREND. Please allow at least one business day from receipt of your application to process your membership request. If you send your application via U.S. Mail, allow an additional 3-5 business days.
  5. Once your application has been received and processed, you will receive a welcome e-mail with your TREND login name and temporary password, along with instructions on how to enter the TREND website and pay your dues.
