Add Unlisted/Non-Member Sales into the MLS

In an effort to support the mission of TREND to protect the integrity of the data in the MLS and accurately reflect market share in advertising media, TREND has agreed to allow all unlisted and non-member sales to be included in our database.

TREND will enter all unlisted/non-member sales for inclusion in our database once settlement of the property has occurred.

Unlisted sales

These are properties which went to settlement that are not subject to a listing agreement by any brokerage firm.

Unlisted sales may include, but not limited to, the following type of property sales:

Auction purchases
Commercial buildings
Condominium conversions
For Sale by Owners (FSBO’s)
New construction

Non-member sales

These are properties which went to settlement that are duly listed by an Agent/Broker who does not participate in TREND.

To enable TREND to enter unlisted/non-member sales, please provide the following information to TREND within three (3) business days of property settlement:

TREND Property Profile Sheet with all required fields filled in
Buyer’s written authorization to enter settled information into TREND
HUD-1 (please provide a legible copy of both sides of the settlement sheet)

Please also include a separate fax cover sheet which includes:

Full Property address
Tax Id number, if available
Name of selling agency and selling agent

Requests will be processed as quickly as possible provided that we have received all necessary documentation and required listing information.
